Vayikra –

– Many are called





6:9 – Burnt offering – Burnt offering: full surrender of the worshiper symbolized by the victim animal to God, and full surrender and consecration must come before fellowship with God;



6:12-13 – the fire shall not be put out – (just as the candlestick)

Olah was fully burnt up and given to YHWH without the priests having a portion.


Mincha – grain – drawing near to YHWH and offering our lives to our fellow man

6:15 – Oil – Priests and kings were anointed with oil – symbol of the Ruach


Frankincense –


–           1st Adam and eve 31:2 “2 “For I will come and save thee; and kings shall bring me when in the flesh, gold, incense and myrrh; gold as a token of My kingdom; incense as a token of My divinity; and myrrh as a token of My suffering and of My death”

6:16 – The priests lived by these gifts/offerings

6:17 – Leaven


6:18 – The priests ate the sin offering (consumed the sin) (remember the mincha…)

6:19-23 – Even the priests offered a 1/10 to YHWH
