THE GREAT FALLING AWAY:
APOSTATE GENERATION
The Great Falling away; with all that is transpiring in the world right now, are we primed for a massive rebellion away from The Most High? Or, has as this apostasy already happened? Today, I’d like to examine some rarely spoken of evidence relating to this intriguing topic. Let’s begin with 2nd Thessalonians.
“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Master Yahusha The Messiah, and by our gathering together unto him, That you be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Messiah is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim, or that is worshiped; so that he as Elohim sits in the temple of Elohim, shewing himself that he is Elohim.”
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4
This discussion should be highly intriguing for most of us, after all, before the day we are waiting for happens, we must see this falling away.
“for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first”
Let’s take a look at the word ‘falling away’:
Apostasy (click here for strongs concordance) — a falling away from the Truth (click here). Paul knew by other scriptures, that a time of apostasy would happen before the resurrection and time of the kingdom (Messiah’s return). Let’s see what Paul may have referenced, found within The Book of Enoch;

We will be taking a look at the ‘prophecy of weeks’ from The Book of Enoch. This prophecy tells the whole story of man in 10 weeks (or ages of time). We will begin with the sixth week (age).
“And after that in the sixth week (age) all who live in it shall be blinded, And the hearts of all of them shall godlessly forsake wisdom. And in it a man shall ascend; And at its close the house of dominion shall be burnt with fire, And the whole race of the chosen root shall be dispersed.”
Enoch 91(93):8
In this week (age), we see the time period of the wicked kings, the heartless Pharisees and Saducees, and of course his sheep led astray. During this time, Messiah ascends into heaven, then Jerusalem is burned with fire in 70AD, and the rest of tribes of Israel undergo the final dispersion, exactly as it was prophesied. Next, we will see that according to Enoch, an entire age of apostasy (falling away) must happen before the kingdom comes (millennial reign), as we will see in week eight.
“And after that in the seventh week shall an apostate generation arise, And many shall be its deeds, And all its deeds shall be apostate…”
Enoch 91(93):9
Right after Messiah’s ascension and the destruction of Jerusalem, there is to be an age of apostasy, a complete forsaking of the ways of YHWH. This is exactly what Rome was able to accomplish with it’s devices.
“I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.”
Daniel 7:21-25

By taking over the faith, and rooting out the true believers, they have steered the masses away from the Torah (law) of The Most High.
Search history and you’ll find that the Roman Kingdom, which became the Papacy & Catholic Church has decimated any who did not follow their apostate ways. Nevertheless, at the end of this age, we see Yahuah selects some people to ‘come out of her’ and learn his wisdom again.
“And at its close shall be elected The elect righteous of the eternal plant of righteousness, To receive seven fold instruction concerning all His creation.”
Enoch 91(93):9
In this book, the “eternal plant of righteousness” = The Seed of Abraham. At the end of this week (age), certain people of the Seed of Abraham will be selected to receive instruction — his true doctrine. When we take a step back, and look at what is happening right now; thousands of people returning to the true Messiah and Torah, we can see this is where we are in time, according to The Book of Enoch. The great falling away has happened already, and continues to be perpetrated, however, some are hearing the call. This is amazing news, as the Torah tells us what happens next!
“And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon you, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, and you shall call them to mind among all the nations, wherever Yahuah your Elohim has driven you, And shall return unto Yahuah your Elohim, and shall obey his voice according to all that I command you this day, you and your children, with all your heart, and with all your soul; That then Yahuah your Elohim will turn your captivity, and have compassion upon you, and will return and gather you from all the nations, whither Yahuah your Elohim has scattered you. If any of yours be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from there will Yahuah your Elohim gather you, and from there will he fetch you: And Yahuah your Elohim will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and he will do you good, and multiply you above your fathers”
Deuteronomy 30:1-5
When we are brought into the land, this is the millennial reign and the kingdom of Elohim. This age (week 7 – age of apostasy/falling away) also ties into a previously hard to understand prophecy given to Ezra:
“And after these years my son the Messiah shall die, and all who have life (eternal life). And the world shall be turned back to primeval silence for seven days (a week, or age), as it was at the first beginnings; so that no one shall be left. And after seven days (week, or age) the world, which is not yet awake, shall be roused, and that which is corruptible shall perish. And the earth shall give up those who are asleep in it (resurrection), and the dust those who dwell silently in it; and the chambers shall give up the souls which have been committed to them. And the Most High shall be revealed upon the seat of judgment, and compassion shall pass away, and patience shall be withdrawn; but only judgment shall remain, truth shall stand, and faithfulness shall grow strong. And recompense shall follow, and the reward shall be manifested; righteous deeds shall awake, and unrighteous deeds shall not sleep.”
2 Esdras 7:29-35
Messiah dies, then comes seven days (week, or age) of silence, because those who have life (eternal life) are rooted out and destroyed by Rome. This great falling away persists until the very end, right before Messiah returns.
“Behold! the days come, and this kingdom will be destroyed which once destroyed Tsiyon, and it will be subjected to that which comes after it. Moreover, that also again after a time will be destroyed, and another, a third, will arise, and that also will have dominion for its time, and will be destroyed. And after these things a fourth kingdom will arise, whose power will be harsh and evil far beyond those which were before it, and it will rule many times as the forests on the plain, and it will hold fast for times, and will exalt itself more than the cedars of Lebanon. And by it the Truth will be hidden, and all those who are polluted with iniquity will flee to it, as evil beasts flee and creep into the forest. And it will come to pass when the time of its consummation that it should fall has approached, then the principate of my MASHIACH will be revealed, which is like the fountain and the vine, and when it is revealed it will root out the multitude of its host.”
2 Baruch 39:3-7
After this period of a week (age), then comes the resurgence of the Truth — a return to the ancient path, the Torah of the Most High; the real fig tree generation.
