Today, we will be discussing entering the Kingdom, a ‘how to’
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see Yahuah
Hebrews 12:14
– many realizing, handful of verses, life changing
Matthew 5:17-19
Matthew 7:21-23
and many others.
– game changers
Hebrews 12:14 should be high on that list.
– Abba awakening us to his truth is a miracle
– We are called to be peacemakers
Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see Yahuah. See to it that no one comes short of the grace of Elohim; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many become defiled
Hebrews 12:14-15
– (Peace – What’s the hebrew word?) This is our greatest area of improvement
Think about it. If we don’t seek peace with all men (let alone ourselves), we won’t see Yahuah, that’s a promise.
“And he showed me a river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb, in the middle of its street. On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There will no longer be any curse; and the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb will be in it, and His bond-servants will serve Him; they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads”
Revelation 22:1-4
– Who want’s to see him? (ask)
– That should light a fire within us!
“One thing I have asked from Yahuah, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of Yahuah all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Yahuah And to meditate in His temple.”
Psalm 27:4
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see Yahuah
Hebrews 12:14
Think Abraham. He was content to dwell peacefully in the land he was sojourning in
-Isaac, even Jacob
– They were men of war when the time dictated, and so will we one day soon
– Until then, we are to be lambs like messiah
– Wise as serpents and harmless as doves
What about us in Babylon, or Egypt??
“This is what Yahuah Tseba’oth, the Elohim of Israel, says to all the exiles whom I have sent into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon: ‘Build houses and live in them; and plant gardens and eat their produce. Take wives and father sons and daughters, and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, so that they may give birth to sons and daughters; and grow in numbers there and do not decrease. Seek the prosperity of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Yahuah in its behalf; for in its prosperity will be your prosperity.’ For this is what Yahuah Tseba’oth, the Elohim of Israel says: ‘Do not let your prophets who are in your midst or your diviners deceive you, and do not listen to their interpretations of your dreams which you dream. For they prophesy falsely to you in My name; I have not sent them,’ declares Yahuah.“For this is what Yahuah says: ‘When seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you back to this place. For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares the Yahuah, ‘plans for prosperity and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will let Myself be found by you,’ declares Yahuah, ‘and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you,’ declares Yahuah, ‘and I will bring you back to the place from where I sent you into exile.’
Jeremiah 29:4-14
– Absolutely, Expose evil
– Pray for the abominations Eze 9
– We should be a light to the people around (yes, even the wicked)
– I must ask, are we doing likewise?
– Who’s our neighbor? Is it just Torah people?
– Are we radiating the love of Mashiach for our fellow man?
– We are to be ambassadors of Messiah’s kingdom
Yahusha said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. Elohim is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
John 4:21-24
The Most High is raising up the remnant
– those who want to share the true gospel in peace
Time is short, talk is cheap, he wants faith and action. Remember; “Many are called, but few are chosen” — Matthew 22:14
– remember the Pharisees gave lip service:
“This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me.”
Matthew 15:8
– Don’t know how to be the light, ask him, perhaps he will put a way right in front of you.
– Don’t know who to share the truth with, ask for that divine appointment.
“Who say, ‘Keep to yourself, do not come near me, For I am holier than you!’ These are smoke in My nostrils, A fire that burns all the day.”
Isaiah 65:5
Will you hear well done faithful servant, or away from me, I never knew you?
“For the commandment is a lamp, and the Torah is light”
Proverbs 6:23
As we continue to ponder the Wise/foolish parable
– What if there’s more to it.
– What if our love for one another in the midst of disagreements is a major part of the division?
Today, we will be focusing on what I believe is the biggest area of opportunity for improving our walk in preparation for the Kingdom of Yahuah — truly loving one another.
Loving people
Loving our neighbor this is where most of us needs to continue to be refined, especially in the ‘Torah community’.
– If we are to love the strangers to the Truth, how much more ourselves?
-
- Love verses
- Testament of Joseph 2:43-68
- Seek to cover one another Matthew 18:15-17
- Eradicating gossip/slander
gossip definition- Gossip verses If others want to gossip and slander you LET THEM (this is the heart of turn the other cheek)
- Testament of Benjamin 1:14-39, 2:1-3
“Salt is good; but if the salt becomes unsalty, with what will you make it salty again? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
Mark 9:50
- Do you think it’s possible to have disagreements on interpretations, yet still live in peace together?
“For the word of Elohim is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, even penetrating as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him to whom we must answer.”
Hebrews 4:12-13
