Has The 1000 Year Millennial Reign Happened Yet?

In recent days, many have been asking me about my thoughts concerning a topic that has gained much interest over the past few years. Has the 1000 Year Millennial Reign happened already? Did we miss the first resurrection? Are we in the time of deception, mentioned in Revelation chapter 20, after the kingdom? If this is true, well, what a disappointment. Nevertheless, we are to strive for the Truth, regardless of feelings or emotions. In short, these are fair questions, all of them, and I’d like to share a few thoughts, but more importantly, the scriptures.

Before we begin, I’d like to mention, that I share this study with love, even if we end up with different conclusions.

After all, we’re still brothers and sisters in Messiah aren’t we? In the midst of disagreements, we should be eager to build one another up, not tear down; anyone can do that. The real challenge, and I’m sure true test Abba has for us, is to see how we will treat each other while we discuss topics like this.

The humble will he guide in judgment: and the humble will he teach his way.”
Psalm 25:9

Your Kingdom Come

When I first heard of this topic, it was puzzling to imagine I missed Kingdom reign. After all, the very prayer our Messiah taught began with “your kingdom come, your will be done…”. If this is true, does the Gospel of the Kingdom message change? Is everything a lie? Has the enemy really been given the power to destroy all history?

Let’s take a look at some of the prophecies about his kingdom coming, to see if it really is possible we’ve missed it. I’ll be sharing some scriptures relating to the kingdom, with short commentary in between each.

The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise Yahuah that seek him: your heart shall live for ever. All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto Yahuah: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before you. For the kingdom is Yahuah’s: and he is the governor among the nations.”
Psalm 22:26-28

A prophecy about the future kingdom of Elohim. When it’s here, all the nations will worship him. This certainly is not happening now, which easily dismisses any thought of the millennial reign happening now. Some say that his kingdom is only spiritual, and not physical; we will get to that in a bit. Those who say the kingdom has already come and gone would say the world once was ruled by him, but not now, for a space of time. Some say the ‘kingdom’ was covered up via mud flood. Let’s keep digging.

All your works shall praise you, O Yahuah; and your saints shall bless you. They shall speak of the glory of your kingdom, and talk of your power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations.”
Psalm 145:10-13

This verse is prophetic. It seems as though when the kingdom comes, its rule doesn’t end, but goes throughout all the generations. Yet, we can’t use one verse to stand on. We shall press on. Next, we will be looking at Isaiah 60, a vivid description of the coming of New Jerusalem — the Kingdom of Elohim.

“Arise, shine; for your light is come, and the glory of Yahuah is risen upon you. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but Yahuah shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you. And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. Lift up your eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to you: your sons shall come from far, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side. Then you shalt see, and flow together, and your heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto you, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto you.”
Isaiah 60:1-5

Now a few verses later in Isaiah, we see something interesting regarding New Jerusalem.

And the sons of strangers shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister unto you: for in my wrath I smote you, but in my favor have I had mercy on you. Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto you the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted. The glory of Lebanon shall come unto you, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious. The sons also of them that afflicted you shall come bending unto you; and all they that despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you; The city of Yahuah, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. Whereas you has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.”
Isaiah 60:10-15

Here in Isaiah 60, we see the use of words like continually, and eternal in relation to the Kingdom, when it comes.

Continually

adverb

  1. Without cessation; unceasingly; continuously.
  2. In regular or repeated succession; very often.
  3. In a continuous manner; non-stop.

Eternal

a : having infinite duration : everlasting eternal
b : of or relating to eternity
c : characterized by abiding fellowship with God good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life? — Mark 10:17 (Revised Standard Version)
2a : continued without intermission: perpetual an eternal flame
b : seemingly endless
According to Isaiah 60, when the kingdom arrives, it will be here eternally. It does not arrive, abide for a thousand years, and then get hidden, or covered by mud, or leave again. We will cover this point in closer detail, in a few moments.
The sun shall be no more your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto you: but Yahuah shall be unto you an everlasting light, and your Elohim your glory. Your sun shall no more go down; neither shall your moon withdraw itself: for Yahuah shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended. Your people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I Yahuah will hasten it in his time.”
Isaiah 60:19-22
Next, we will take a look at a clear prophecy given to Daniel the prophet, regarding the kingdom. We will be looking at chapter 2, where Daniel interprets Nebuchadnezzar dream, and explains the four kingdoms that will rule the earth until Messiah’s kingdom arrives. We will start reading after he explains the four worldy kingdoms.

“And in the days of these kings shall the Elohim of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever. For as much as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great Elohim has made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.”
Daniel 2:44-45

This prophecy seems clear enough. The world powers will rule the earth until Messiah’s kingdom arrives, and when it does, it will endure forever. If the kingdom reign already happened, then this prophecy from Daniel would have failed. The prophecy does not state that Messiah will crush the nations, rule it for a thousand years, then go away again and let lawlessness and evil prevail again. His kingdom rules for ever. To be sure ‘this’ kingdom mentioned here is the New Jerusalem we are waiting for, let’s inspect this ‘stone cut out of the mountain without hands’ a bit further. Here’s 2 Esdras (included in the 1611 KJV), which expounds on the matter.

“the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands”

After seven days I dreamed a dream in the night; and behold, a wind arose from the sea and stirred up all its waves. And I looked, and behold, this wind made something like the figure of a man come up out of the heart of the sea. And I looked, and behold, that man flew with the clouds of heaven; and wherever he turned his face to look, everything under his gaze trembled, and whenever his voice issued from his mouth, all who heard his voice melted as wax melts when it feels the fire. After this I looked, and behold, an innumerable multitude of men were gathered together from the four winds of heaven to make war against the man who came up out of the sea. And I looked, and behold, he carved out for himself a great mountain, and flew up upon it. And I tried to see the region or place from which the mountain was carved, but I could not. After this I looked, and behold, all who had gathered together against him, to wage war with him, were much afraid, yet dared to fight. And behold, when he saw the onrush of the approaching multitude, he neither lifted his hand nor held a spear or any weapon of war; but I saw only how he sent forth from his mouth as it were a stream of fire, and from his lips a flaming breath, and from his tongue he shot forth a storm of sparks. All these were mingled together, the stream of fire and the flaming breath and the great storm, and fell on the onrushing multitude which was prepared to fight, and burned them all up, so that suddenly nothing was seen of the innumerable multitude but only the dust of ashes and the smell of smoke. When I saw it, I was amazed. After this I saw the same man come down from the mountain and call to him another multitude which was peaceable.”
2 Esdras 13:1-12 1611 KJV

No doubt, this is a prophecy about the nations making war against the Lamb. Let’s see the interpretation of it.

This is the interpretation of the vision: As for your seeing a man come up from the heart of the sea, this is he whom the Most High has been keeping for many ages, who will himself deliver his creation; and he will direct those who are left. And as for your seeing wind and fire and a storm coming out of his mouth, and as for his not holding a spear or weapon of war, yet destroying the onrushing multitude which came to conquer him, this is the interpretation:  Behold, the days are coming when the Most High will deliver those who are on the earth. And bewilderment of mind shall come over those who dwell on the earth. And they shall plan to make war against one another, city against city, place against place, people against people, and kingdom against kingdom. And when these things come to pass and the signs occur which I showed you before, then my Son will be revealed, whom you saw as a man coming up from the sea. And when all the nations hear his voice, every man shall leave his own land and the warfare that they have against one another; and an innumerable multitude shall be gathered together, as you saw, desiring to come and conquer him. But he will stand on the top of Mount Zion. And Zion will come and be made manifest to all people, prepared and built, as you saw the mountain carved out without hands.
2 Esdras 13:25-36

This passage from 2 Esdras weaves together the prophecy from Daniel 2; solidifying that New Jerusalem arriving (the stone/mountain cut without hands) is the Kingdom that comes to destroy the reign and power of all nations and takes over the dominion. Now Daniel 7:

I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame. As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time. I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. I came near unto one of them that stood by, and asked him the truth of all this. So he told me, and made me know the interpretation of the things. These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth. But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom, and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.
Daniel 7:11-18

As the prophecy states, when Messiah’s kingdom arrives, it will destroy the kingdoms of the earth, and take away their dominion, yet their lives would be prolonged for a time (during the reign). This is why we see nations having to come to Sukkot every year in Zechariah 14.

Then every one that survives of all the nations that have come against Jerusalem shall go up year after year to worship the King, Yahuah Tseba’ot, and to keep the feast of booths. And if any of the families of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahuah Tseba’ot, there will be no rain upon them.”
Zechariah 14:16-17

Also, it is critical to notice that the Daniel 7 prophecy states that when the kingdom comes, the saints will posses it forever, not for a thousand years, then it goes away again for a time. When it comes, it stays.

And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
Daniel 7:27

For good measure, let’s see Paul connect Messiah’s return equating to the kingdom.

I charge you in the presence of Elohim and of Messiah Yahusha who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Master, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.”
2 Timothy 4:1,8

Behold, I have graven you upon the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.”
Isaiah 49:16

We see a connecting verse in 2nd Baruch, with the same language, solidifying that the revealing, or coming of Messiah, is with his physical kingdom. Baruch was a scribe during the time of Jeremiah, also mentioned in his book of prophecy (Jeremiah 32, 36, 43 and 45). We will be reading from chapter 4 of his book of prophecy. Prior to this, in chapters 1-3, we have the lamentation over the coming destruction of the physical city of Jerusalem. Then Elohim answers:

“AND YAHUAH said unto me: This city (physical Jerusalem) shall be delivered up for a time; and the people shall be chastened during a time; and the world will not be given over to oblivion. Do you think that this is that city of which I said: On the palms of my hands have I graven you? This building now built in your midst is not that which is revealed with me, that which was prepared beforehand here from the time when I took counsel to make Paradise, and showed it to A’dam before he sinned, but when he transgressed the commandment it was removed from him, as also Paradise.”
2 Baruch 4:1-3

This is a good time to address this passage:

Yahusha answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.”
John 18:36

Truth!  Messiah’s kingdom is within the walls of New Jerusalem, the Heavenly kingdom which will descend one day at her appointed time! Keep in mind, when that happens, so will the entire earth be his kingdom.

And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Yahuah, and of his Messiah; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Revelation 11:15

If the reign of Messiah was happening now, wheres the righteousness? Why are the wicked still in power? Why are there still tears, and pain and death and sorrow and the light of the sun and moon?

Kingdom Temporarily Moved?

I decided to ask some questions to a few close brothers of mine who believe that the thousand year kingdom reign has already happened. The questions pertained to the previous verses and the kingdom. Some of them said that the kingdom didn’t go away, it just moved, or disappeared to a place we cannot see at this time. Others would say that it was Tartaria, and was destroyed in the mud flood. Let’s see what the scriptures have to say in regards to this.

But you are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living Elohim, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,To the general assembly and congregation of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to Elohim the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect, Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve Elohim acceptably with reverence and godly fear”
Hebrews 12:22-23, 26-28

“Cannot be moved.” is what the Word of Elohim says. Many of us who have been instructed concerning  biblical cosmology, have learned that we take things like this literally.

Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities: your eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation, a tabernacle that shall not be taken down; not one of the stakes thereof shall ever be removed, neither shall any of the cords thereof be broken.”
Isaiah 33:20

Another witness; when she comes, she stays and is never moved. Let’s look at another prophecy of the time and coming of the Kingdom of Elohim.

“Elohim is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah. There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of Elohim, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. Elohim is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: Elohim shall help her, and that right early. The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted. Yahuah Tseba’ot is with us; the Elohim of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Come, behold the works of Yahuah, what desolations he has made in the earth. He makes wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaks the bow, and cuts the spear in sunder; he burns the chariot in the fire. Be still, and know that I am Elohim: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. Yahuah Tseba’ot is with us; the Elohim of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
Psalm 46

It is plainly stated, that she will never be moved or hidden. Let’s take a look at one more prophecy written in the Psalms. Here, we see that one day the Most High will be literally among his people, and we know that is during time of the kingdom. Here’s what Psalm 125 states:

“Those who trust in Yahuah are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved, but abides for ever, As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so Yahuah is round about his people, from this time forth and for evermore.
Psalm 125:1-2

Oh, what a day that will be family!

The Age of Apostasy Prior To The Kingdom

The ‘dark ages’ from the time of our messiah until now is a major area of speculation for the mud flood/tartaria researchers, and understandably so. Some will say that we cannot trust the history books at all. Some will say we are only a thousand years removed from the time of Messiah, alongside many other interesting possibilities. We have the option to continue to theorize, based on pictures from the past and secular writings, or we can see what the Word reveals. Have we come this far, only to put more weight in anything other than the Word? You’ll recognize the scriptures speak about an entire age (centuries) from the first coming of Messiah until his return, not 40-50 years after (70ad).

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Master Yahusha the Messiah, and by our gathering together unto him
2 Thessalonians 2:1

Let’s connect the ‘coming of our master’ with the resurrection of the dead:

For this we say unto you by the Word of Yahuah, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Master shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Master himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of Elohim: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Master in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Master.”
1 Thessalonians 4:15-17

Witness in the Tanakh:

“Your dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, you that dwell in dust: for your dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Come, my people, enter you into your chambers, and shut your doors about you: hide yourself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, Yahuah comes out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.”
Isaiah 26:19-21

Now, back to 2 Thessalonians 2:

“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Master Yahusha The Messiah, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Messiah is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called Elohim, or that is worshiped; so that he as Elohim sits in the temple of Elohim, shewing himself that he is Elohim.”
2 Thessalonians 2:1-4

There’s so much to say about this one passage, that we spent nearly 2 hours discussing it. If you’d like to dive deeper on this subject, see this video here:

However, to stay on topic for this section, I want to focus on this part of Paul’s prophecy:

“for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first”

Let’s take a look at the word ‘falling away’:

Apostasy — a falling away from the Truth. Paul knew by other scriptures, that a time of apostasy would happen first; before the resurrection and time of the kingdom (Messiah’s return). Let’s see what Paul may have been privy to, back then. Considering Jude quoted directly from The Book of Enoch, likewise Messiah and Peter taught from it. I would venture to say Paul was familiar with it as well. We will be taking a look at the ‘prophecy of weeks’ from The Book of Enoch. This prophecy tells the whole story of man in 10 weeks, or ages of time. We will begin with the sixth week (age).

“And after that in the sixth week (age) all who live in it shall be blinded, And the hearts of all of them shall godlessly forsake wisdom. And in it a man shall ascend; And at its close the house of dominion shall be burnt with fire, And the whole race of the chosen root shall be dispersed.”
Enoch 91(93):8

In this week (age), we see the time period of the wicked kings, and the heartless Pharisees and Saducees. During this time, Messiah ascends into heaven, then Jerusalem is burned with fire in 70AD, and the rest of tribes of Israel undergo the final dispersion, exactly as it was prophesied. Next, we will see that according to Enoch, an entire age of apostasy must happen before the kingdom comes.

“And after that in the seventh week shall an apostate generation arise, And many shall be its deeds, And all its deeds shall be apostate…”
Enoch 91(93):9

Right after Messiah’s ascension and the destruction of Jerusalem, there is to be an age of apostasy, not the kingdom reign of righteousness. At the end of this age, we see Yahuah selects some people to ‘come out of her’ and learn wisdom again.

“And at its close shall be elected The elect righteous of the eternal plant of righteousness, To receive sevenfold instruction concerning all His creation.”
Enoch 91(93):9

In this book, the “eternal plant of righteousness” = The Seed of Abraham. At the end of this week (age), certain people of the Seed of Abraham will be selected to receive instruction — his true doctrine. When we look at what is happening right now; thousands of people returning to the true Messiah and Torah, we can see this is where we are in time, according to The Book of Enoch. Here’s what happens next, in the eight week (age).

“And after that there shall be another, the eighth week, that of righteousness, And a sword shall be given to it that a righteous judgement may be executed on the oppressors, And sinners shall be delivered into the hands of the righteous. And at its close they shall acquire houses through their righteousness, And a house shall be built for the Great King in glory for evermore, And all mankind shall look to the path of uprightness.”
Enoch 91(93):12-14

This sounds a lot like the millennial reign and the kingdom of Elohim. This age (week) also ties into a previously hard to understand prophecy given to Ezra:

“And after these years my son the Messiah shall die, and all who have life (eternal life). And the world shall be turned back to primeval silence for seven days (a week, or age), as it was at the first beginnings; so that no one shall be left. And after seven days (week, or age) the world, which is not yet awake, shall be roused (awakening of the wise/foolish virgin parable), and that which is corruptible shall perish. And the earth shall give up those who are asleep in it (resurrection), and the dust those who dwell silently in it; and the chambers shall give up the souls which have been committed to them. And the Most High shall be revealed upon the seat of judgment, and compassion shall pass away, and patience shall be withdrawn; but only judgment shall remain, truth shall stand, and faithfulness shall grow strong. And recompense shall follow, and the reward shall be manifested; righteous deeds shall awake, and unrighteous deeds shall not sleep.”
2 Esdras 7:29-35

Messiah dies, then comes seven days (week, or age) of silence, because those who have life (eternal life) are rooted out and destroyed by Rome. After this period of a week (age), then comes the resurgence of the Truth, then the resurrection, which happens at Messiah’s coming with his kingdom, we are close  family! HalleluYah!

For the last piece of evidence for this portion, I’d like to inspect Ezekiel 37. Many of us understand this passage to specifically talk about the first resurrection. Let’s see what else it says:

“Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus says Yahuah Elohim; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.”
Ezekiel 37:12

Now this:

“And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children’s children for ever: and my servant David (Messiah Yahusha, the Root of David — The BRANCH) shall be their prince for ever. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people. And the nations shall know that I Yahuah do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.”
Ezekiel 37:25-28

A beautiful passage that really summarizes our understanding. When the resurrection happens, then comes the regathering into the land — the true Jerusalem, the kingdom. Also, there’s much speculation as to exactly where this kingdom will sit. These verses tell us it’s exactly where it was prophesied to Abraham many years ago.

In the same day Yahuah made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto your seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:”
Genesis 15:18

And:

And I will give unto you, and to your seed after you, the land wherein you are a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their Elohim.
Genesis 17:8

Also:

“And Jacob said unto Joseph, El Shaddai appeared unto me at Luz in the land of Canaan, and blessed me,And said unto me, Behold, I will make you fruitful, and multiply you, and I will make of you a multitude of people; and will give this land to your seed after you for an everlasting possession.”
Genesis 48:3-4

While this location in the ‘Middle East’ comes with much controversy, this is where the Kingdom will reign. Not the physical Jerusalem, but the Set-Apart New Jerusalem will set down in her prophesied place.

The burden of the Word of Yahuah for Israel, says Yahuah, which stretches forth the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him. Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it. In that day, says Yahuah, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness. And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in Yahuah Tseba’ot their Elohim. In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.”
Zechariah 12:1-6

Jerusalem will be in Jerusalem? This wouldn’t make sense, unless this is saying; New Jerusalem will be placed in her rightful spot, even in Jerusalem, the promised land given to the patriarchs for eternity. However, the modern day State of Israel plays a major role in the deception for the end times. For more on this, please review this video:

His Kingdom Is Spiritual Only?

And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of Elohim should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of Elohim comes not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of Elohim is within you.”
Luke 17:20-21

NASB:

“…The kingdom of Elohim is not coming with signs that can be observed; nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ For behold, the kingdom of Elohim is in your midst.”

At first glance, it seems like Messiah is teaching the kingdom is spiritual, not physical. Yet, I figured I’d nestle this interesting passage, right after a slew of verses that unequivocally point to a physical kingdom. We have to remember, when he spoke to the Pharisees and Saducees, he spoke in parables, and not plainly. Furthermore, we see that they demanded an answer from the Son of Elohim. RUDE. I don’t think they even deserved an answer! What I find fascinating; Messiah begins to tell his disciples of what his return (with his kingdom) will look like:

“And He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will long to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. And they will say to you, ‘Look there,’ or, ‘Look here!’ Do not leave, and do not run after them. For just like the lightning, when it flashes out of one part of the sky, shines to the other part of the sky, so will the Son of Man be in His day.”
Luke 17:22-24

It seems as though Messiah withheld information from the Pharisees and Saduccees who rudely demanded answers from him, and revealed the truth to his disciples (and us). Also, it should be noted, that many on earth will say Messiah is here — this is something to never forget in the midst of the coming deceptions. When our Messiah returns, all the world will see him, even if they think he’s the enemy.

“Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Messiah, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Messiah’s, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before. Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.”
Matthew 24:23-27

Proof The Millennial Reign Happened

Recent videos on mudfloods and Tartaria have popularized the doctrine of ‘preterism’. Now, I’m not one to put a belief system into a boxed-in title, but I’m mentioning this doctrine for reference. Preterism states that 70ad was the Day of Yahuah (Day of the Lord) and the kingdom was instituted at that time.

Concerning the mud floods, no doubt, there has been entire cities encased in time, and certainly lies have been perpetrated regarding our true past.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. Yet, the scriptures should speak even louder, right? Here’s the thing; I’ve watched quite a few videos on the subject, and it comes down this; people look at a bunch of pictures and come up with their theories.

Pictures like this one and others, are some of the proof used to show that the day of Yahuah has already happened (melted buildings). Brothers and sisters, are we going to stand on pictures and opinions? Or the Word of Yah? The mud floods and Tartaria are interesting to speculate, but how do we know exactly what these buildings were? What if they were the nations before the flood in Noah’s day, especially considering the research showing this ancient time that had the technology we have now?

Scriptures Used To Support This Theory

Revelation 20

“And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.”
Revelation 20:7-8

We are without a doubt, in a time of deception. Before we use this as evidence, let’s read what happens before this passage:

And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshiped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.”
Revelation 19:19-21

Here’s the first gathering of the nations against the Kingdom of Messiah and his people. Now Revelation 20:

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Yahusha, and for the Word of Elohim, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Messiah a thousand years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of Elohim and of Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years. And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from Elohim out of heaven, and devoured them. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Revelation 20:1-10

The reality is, there is a time of deception before and after the millennial reign. Furthermore, if we are in the time after the reign, then there’s no more image, or mark of the beast. Why? Because when the kingdom comes, the beast is put into the pit and is not released ever again, only Satan. Now we start to see some of the dangers associated with teaching we are post millennial reign.

Matthew 27

And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.”
Matthew 27:52-53

Knowing what we know now about the prophecy of week (ages), we know this cannot be the first resurrection. Yet, this is still quite the puzzling stand-alone verse. What actually happened here? I certainly do not claim to have all the answers. However, there is a book that is not highly publicized called The Gospel of Nicodemus, also known as The Acts of Pontius Pilate. I’m no one to dictate what is, or is not scriptures. Nevertheless, I have read this document several times and find it very intriguing.

In chapters 12-21 of this book, we find the story of Charinus and Lenthinus, the two sons of Simeon, the priest who recognized Messiah as a baby in Luke chapter 1. Long story short, these two sons died and were part of this ‘mini resurrection’. They were allowed to walk the earth for 3 days to visit with their families and tell of the true divinity of Yahusha, and the story of what happened when Messiah went down into Sheol, defeating death. He also preached the good news to the ‘prisoners’, as alluded to by Peter:

For Messiah also has once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to Elohim, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison.
1 Peter 3:18-19

This Gospel of Nicodemus is the only text I know of that reveals this information. Whether it is a true word form Yah or not, remains to be seen, yet, I find this the best explanation I’ve come across for Matthew 27. The overall point is, we cannot use this one stand alone verse to prove this was the first resurrection.

Revelation 22 (and others similar)

Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this book.”
Revelation 22:7

2,000 years, or however long it’s been isn’t very ‘quick‘, so I understand the questions surrounding this, and other passages like it, alluding to Messiah coming back right after his resurrection. Let’s take a look at the strongs definition of the Greek word Tachy.

No doubt, that in our impatient generation, we see the word quickly and imagine it should be here now, or even better yet, yesterday! Let’s see another use of this word:

Repent; or else I will come unto you quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.”
Revelation 2:16

Is he saying, “Repent, or else my second coming will come more quickly”?  Hardly so, the ‘quickly’ in this verse means by surprise, as we’ve seen elsewhere in the Word.

Watch therefore: for you don’t know what hour your Master does come. But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up. Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes.”
Matthew 24:42-44

I think this sheds much more light on ‘quickly’; better interpreted as, by surprise. Moreover, let us not forget the parable of the talents Messiah taught:

For the kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his master’s money. After a long time the master of those servants came, and reckoned with them.”
Matthew 25:14-19

Messiah said he’d be a long time. Would you consider 40/50 years a long time, or thousands? Either he contradicts himself with ‘a long time’ in the parable of the talents, and ‘quickly’ in Revelation 22:7 regarding his second coming, or we may be misusing ‘quickly’. Once again, I can’t find the justification to use ‘quickly’ to warrant the millennial reign happening already.

Matthew 24

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
Matthew 24:34

In Matthew 24, Messiah is telling his disciples all about the end times. From the perspective of those who believe the millennial reign happened already, they would say that Messiah is talking about the very generation he was in, at that time. However, we could take the opposite view, and simply say, he was referencing the end times generation, saying; This generation, you know, the one at the end, will not pass away until all these things be fulfilled. Let’s take a look at the Hebrew Gospel of Matthew:

Truth I say to you that that generation will not die until all of this is fulfilled.
Matthew 24:34 Hebrew Gospel of Matthew

Matthew 16

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.”
Matthew 16:28

Another verse that seems to be pointing to the very near reappearing of Messiah after his resurrection. After all, if some of the apostles weren’t supposed to die until he came back with his kingdom, then it had to have happened right away. Before we get too far with that thought, let’s examine a few other verses.

Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that you have a devil. Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and you say, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death.”
John 8:52

Was Messiah’s ‘saying’ meaning this; if we keep his Word we will never die in this physical earth? Of course not. Perhaps this death he was implying was the ‘second death’?

He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches; He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death.”
Revelation 2:11

and

Blessed and holy is he that has part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of Elohim and of Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Revelation 20:6

I believe this is exactly what Messiah was mentioning to his apostles, yet why would he be saying some of them would taste of the second death?

Judas Iscariot was amongst them.

Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Ruach Ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Yahusha. For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his position let another take.”
Acts 1:16,20

Peter quoted Psalm 69:25, which also mentions this:

Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.
Psalm 69:28

I’m not the judge, but by the Word, it seems as though Judas will taste of the second death, which explains Matthew 16:28 to us. It’s also worthy to note, that the Greek word Tis that was used for ‘some’ in this verse:

“There be some standing here..”

Is translated in many other ways:

Wrapping Up

One last point I’d like to touch on. I’ve heard it mentioned that since modern day Dispensationalist Christians teach a future reign for a thousand years, therefore it must be wrong. If we take that same line of thinking, then we should toss out the Sabbath day and other feasts of Yah, because the Jews do it. Likewise, we should toss out dietary laws, because Muslims also practice this. This line of thinking doesn’t work.

Stay on guard brothers and sisters. Messiah told us, “Those who hunger and thirst after righteousness shall be filled.” (Matthew 5:6).  We also know this:

“Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and your Torah is the Truth.”
Psalm 119:142

We should be meditating on, and growing in his Word day and night. This, should be our hunger and thirst daily. Over the past few years, I’ve noticed people coming to the Truth, but not being satisfied by it, as they would rather be more focused on ‘the next big thing’, or the next conspiracy topic. I won’t mock, as conspiracy topics brought me, and many of us to the Truth. But now that we’re here, why thirst (seek) out anything else? Why stand on pictures and secular writings to form doctrine?

Let us stand boldly for the Word in these last days.

The Word that is a light to our path in this dark world.

Ho, every one that thirsts, come you to the waters, and he that has no money; come you, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labor for that which satisfies not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat you that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you.”
Isaiah 55:1-3

Above all brothers and sisters, regardless of where we end up on this topic, let us have fervent love and peace with one another. Perhaps this is the real test that Abba has before us.

“Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see Yahuah.”
Hebrews 12:14

Remember, we are not far from the time of the kingdom, that we desire so greatly!

“So it will be when all of these things have come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have placed before you, and you call them to mind in all the nations where Yahuah your Elohim has scattered you, and you return to Yahuah your Elohim and obey Him with all your heart and soul in accordance with everything that I am commanding you today, you and your sons, then Yahuah your Elohim will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the Yahuah your Elohim has scattered you. If any of your scattered countrymen are at the ends of the earth, from there the Yahuah your Elohim will gather you, and from there He will bring you back. Yahuah your Elohim will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and He will be good to you and make you more numerous than your fathers.”
Deuteronomy 30:1-5

Spirit and Truth.
