We are just days away, perhaps even just moments (by the time you read/watch this) from the 2024 total solar eclipse that will cut across the US on April 8th, 2024. Likewise, there is so much happening in the world on the same date. Is it all just a coincidence? What will be the outcome of all this? Join us, as we get to the heart of what our Heavenly Father is truly communicating to us, how we should react, and ultimately the call to action.
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
Luke 21:25-26
WHAT DOES THE ECLIPSE MEAN?
Let’s start at the beginning to determine what message the creator of all is conveying to us through the eclipse. We know there is an overabundance of opinions, but we want chapter and verse.
And Elohim said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years
Genesis 1:14
The sun and moon were made for signs. What is a sign?
A sign that every adult, and many children would quickly recognize, understand, and take proper action for safety.
The eclipse should also be viewed this way. Let’s take a look at the scriptural meaning of the Hebrew word ‘ot’ (sign)
Brothers and sisters, as many of us are already aware, this eclipse should serve as a sign to the body, and even to the world to repent! Turn from our sinful ways and believe in the good news of and hope of Yahusha, the son of YHWH.
I tell you, Nay: but, except you repent, you shall all likewise perish
Luke 13:3
THE NAMES
In this study, we will be using the Hebrew names and/or titles for our Heavenly Father and His Son. My apologies for any confusion, however, we have recognized that using the Hebrew names to the best of our understanding, to be an immense blessing in our walk. We also respect and understand that there are varying interpretations of the pronunciation and pray our current understanding does not offend, or take away from this study. If you believe we pronounce the name incorrectly, please consider just praying for us.
- Elohim = Hebrew word for God
- YHWH = Name of out Heavenly Father
- Yahusha = Name of the Son of YHWH (our savior, the lamb of Elohim – Aka Yeshua, Jesus)
JONAH AND NINEVEH
As many watchmen on the wall have already pointed out, this eclipse could be tied to Nineveh and the sign of Jonah. To be brief, history records a total solar eclipse (much like the one we are about to experience) happening in the same year Jonah arrived in Nineveh.
It seems highly possible that the eclipse happened right before Jonah made an appearance (perhaps while he was in the belly of the fish) which prepared the people to hear and repent after his lengthy sermon (8 words in English, 5 in Hebrew):
And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
So the people of Nineveh believed Elohim, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.
For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.
And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:
But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto Elohim: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
Who can tell if Elohim will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
And Elohim saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and Elohim repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
Jonah 3:4-10
Truly, the body of Messiah and even those without should learn from the inhabitants of Nineveh. They properly interpreted the sign in the sky, followed by the Word of YHWH spoken by the prophet Jonah and took corrective action.
They changed their ways and were protected.
Is America a modern day Nineveh? Some would say more like Egypt, and others Babylon. What we do know is the US is the most influential country on the world stage. The financial and military world-power who bullies the rest of the nations, much like Assyria (Nineveh) did in the height of it’s power. What will be the fate of America?
Though we who live in America enjoy many ‘freedoms’, most are held captive spiritually by the lusts this land supplies in abundance. Hatred, division, murder, sexual immorality, pedophile rings, scandals, the Federal Reserve, LGBTQIA+, Hollywood, drugs (pharmakia, sorcery), the music industry that churns out greedy and lawless people, the education indoctrination system, perpetual idolatry, jealousy, envy, fake politics, fake food, fake money, fake news and of course fake religion, which honestly, is the most deceptive issue above the rest. More on that later. Point being, those who partake in the sins of America will perish with it, be it now or when the end comes.
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, rivalry, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, debauchery, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of Elohim
Galatians 5:19-21
All of us have fallen short, and have sinned before YHWH. The good news is we serve the one who is merciful, longsuffering, and quick to forgive those who truly have a repent heart.
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14
Giving thanks unto the Father, which has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Colossians 1:12-14
Some are calling for the destruction of America, beginning with the April 8th eclipse, will it happen this way? Only YHWH knows. Nevertheless, the call is for repentance.
Will you join us by entering into this eclipse fasting and humbling ourselves as the Ninevites did?
Some of the leaders within our local assembly have felt led to fast from the evening of 4/6 (sat night) until the eclipse has passed (Monday afternoon). Join us if you feel led, pray about it.
While those who are of the world are treating this like a party, let the followers of Messiah do the opposite. Let us be like those marked (in a good way) by YHWH in Ezekiel 9:
And YHWH said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst of it. And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity: Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

What side of things do you want to end up on?
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of YHWH comes

Though Nineveh was like a pool of water throughout her days, Yet they are fleeing; “Stop, stop,” But no one turns back. Plunder the silver, Plunder the gold! For there is no end to the treasure— Wealth from every kind of desirable object. She is emptied! Yes, she is desolate and waste! Hearts are melting and knees wobbling! Also trembling is in the entire body, And all their faces have become blackness!

Let us fast and seek our maker, asking him to open the eyes of those blinded by the world. Let true revival (faith and obedience) come to the four corners of the earth.
CERN, ROCKETS, COMETS AND HEIFERS, OH MY!
I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: you that make mention of YHWH, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth
Isaiah 62:6-7
Thanks to the diligent work of watchmen on the wall, we are aware of many ‘coincidences’ happening on the same day as the eclipse. Many are sounding the alarm.
CERN
For those unaware, CERN is an underground Large Hadron Collider that is proposed to be able to find the origins of life; the ‘God Particle’, and even open a doorway to another realm. Some say, this machine will be the the tool to open the bottomless pit. For the cherry on top, CERN has a large statue of the false god Shiva, yes, the god of destruction. Should you be conCERNed? Well, with proper spiritual disCERNment, you will see shortly.

NASA ROCKETS!
NASA shooting rockets (even nukes) into the sky is nothing new under the sun. I’d recommend researching “Operation Fishbowl”, however YouTube has been thoroughly scrubbed of the truth on the matter. Nevertheless, NASA will be firing off rockets in the vicinity of the eclipse for testing. Some have speculated that this will bring a shower of death, be it chemical weapons, or perhaps even nukes?
Likewise, others have reported a similar type of biological weapon release via airplanes spraying overhead. Some have even heard firsthand reports of police departments and sheriffs training and preparing for this very event on April 8th. What will happen?
Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings shalt you trust: his truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day; Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come close to you.

Do we believe his promises?
THE DEVIL COMET
They say this comet will be visible during the eclipse, and some say this is another sign to pay attention to. Others claim this could be the sign of Revelation 12:3.
And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born
Revelation 12:3-4
However, let’s not get too carried away. YHWH did say the sun, moon and stars are for signs, not comets.
Even so, we should not mock. If there is something visible in the heavens, it’s definitely worthy of note. After all, our beloved Messiah’s birth was recognized by the movement of stars (Matthew 2).
This is what YHWH says, Learn not the way of the nations, and be not fearful at the signs of heaven; for the nations are fearful of them
Jeremiah 10:2
THE RED HEIFER SACRIFICE
Supposedly, another occurrence happening on April 8th is the possible sacrifice of a red heifer in the state of Israel, for the preparation of a third temple. First, I’d like to call some scripture to mind regarding the temple in general.
Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign will you show us, seeing that you do these things? Yahusha answered and said to them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and will you rear it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body
John 2:18-21
Any physical third temple built by man would be rejected by YHWH.
Thus says YHWH, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those things has mine hand made, and all those things have been, says YHWH: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word

Why are any of his people supporting this?
What? don’t you know that your body is the temple of the Ruach Ha’Qodesh (Holy Spirit) which is in you, which you have of Elohim, and you are not your own? For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify Elohim in your body, and in your spirit, which are Elohim’s.
1st Corinthians 6:19-20
Don’t you realize the adversary is residing in most of the temples of YHWH (people) through disobedience to YHWH’s commandments? A third temple doesn’t need to be rebuilt for the devil to stand inside it and proclaim it to be his. He’s already doing that, and quite successful.
He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Elohim was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil

Who you obey is your master.
Don’t you know, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Who’s temple are you?
Many are following the Devil unknowingly. You know, the lawless one; the one who broke YHWH’s law and leadsd others to do the same. But back to the point. Even aside from the eclipse, so many are pointing to these red heifers, which is another deception. When you take a closer look at Numbers 19, this sacrifice wasn’t even for the temple, but for those who have touched a dead body. Even if all these things are planned by man and will happen, let’s not forget that YHWH is in charge still.
For Elohim has put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of Elohim shall be fulfilled
Revelation 17:17
FOCUS
Here’s what has inadvertently happened though these watchman reports. The eyes, focus, and fear of YHWH’s people have shifted to these matters (ie, CERN, heifers etc..) instead of being fixated on Him. Making sure we are praying, reading his word and applying it to our lives. This, brothers and sisters is what he wants from us. Devoting our lives to loving him (the way he commanded it) and loving others as ourselves. The whole Word instructs on how we go about doing so.
Man-made religion takes us off the narrow path.
Bursting with bold faithfulness, and eyes fixed on Messiah, Peter was able to walk on water, even while the sea was troubled!
But the boat was already a long distance from the land, battered by the waves; for the wind was hostile.
Matthew 14:24
However, when Peter took his focus off Messiah (The Word), and fixed his attention on the fear surrounding him, he sank into the murky chaos.
But seeing the wind, he became frightened, and when he began to sink, he cried out, saying, “Master, save me!” Immediately Yahusha reached out with His hand and took hold of him, and said to him, “You of little faith, why did you doubt?
Matthew 14:30-31
Fearing the chaos of the world = doubt
Let’s take a lesson from Peter. We need to trust in Him and keep our eyes (life) focused, and be not swayed by the perpetual fear, lest we sink into it. Being aware of what’s going on in the world is one thing, but we know His people can become entangled, and easily distracted, leading away from the path of life.
We should be fearing YHWH, alone. When our feet are planted on the Rock (Messiah), we have a firm foundation, so that no matter what comes our way, we can, and will withstand the storm.
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of Elohim, which is in Messiah Yahusha, our Master
Romans 8:38-39
Even if we are to lose our lives, do we not believe in the promise of eternal life? When we continue to abide in the doctrine of Messiah Yahusha, we have nothing to fear. No rockets, cern, NASA or even death.
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell
Matthew 10:28
The ancient generations feared the armies of the foreign nations instead of abiding in the fear of YHWH, and this is what happened.
You have feared the sword, and I will bring a sword upon you, says YHWH
Ezekiel 11:8
Do you think he wants us scared or anxious about CERN, rockets and red heifers? Or perhaps to keep our focus on him and doing his will?
Remember! Messiah told us these things would happen before and at his return.
And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. Our main concern leading up to this sign should be getting right with YHWH. Making sure we are aligned with his ways.
The fear of YHWH is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever
Psalm 111:10
When we fear YHWH, we have nothing to worry about.
The fear of YHWH leads to life, So that one may sleep satisfied, untouched by evil
Proverbs 19:23
Even the eclipse itself, we should not fear.
This is what YHWH says, Learn not the way of the nations, and be not fearful at the signs of heaven; for the nations are fearful of them
Jeremiah 10:2
Ancient Assyria (Nineveh) feared the signs of the heavens. However, this generation wants to party underneath it.
THE SERVANTS OF YHWH ARE PROTECTED
Let’s not forget how Israel was shielded from the plagues, darkness and even death during the Exodus & Passover.
While many who love and serve YHWH are expecting annihilation by those in power, I wouldn’t be too quick to dismiss what the entire word teaches us. Those who serve YHWH by actually following his ways are delivered and escape.
And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Luke 21:34-36
Do you think Messiah would state this in vain if it were not possible to escape?
I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it: for you have little strength, and have kept my word, and has not denied my name. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved you. Because you have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

How do our works appear to him? Are you keeping his Word? These are determining factors of where we will end up.
1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of YHWH comes, for it is nigh at hand;
2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there has not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
11 And YHWH shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executes his word: for the day of YHWH is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
12 Therefore also now, says YHWH, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto YHWH your Elohim: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents of the evil.
14 Who knows if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto YHWH your Elohim?
15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet

Let’s be his treasured possession, ready and waiting for his return.
THE POINT
This eclipse should be a wake-up call in our lives. Are we living for ourselves, or him? Are we keeping his commandments, or the commandments of men? This all happens to be very timely, as the eclipse is set just two weeks away from Passover. The Passover is one of the most holy (sacred, set-apart) times of our Heavenly Father, as it memorializes the true Lamb of Elohim; commemorating his son offering his own life for us on the cross.
Purge out therefore the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, as you are unleavened. For even Messiah our Passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
1 Corinthians 5:7-8

Here is a warning to the wicked. Those who not only don’t care for the poor, but trample upon them and exploit them. This admonition is for those who live in deceit, cheating or even stealing from others. For people who do not keep his Sabbath holy and much more. You’ll notice the warning sign is a solar eclipse.
4 Hear this, O ye that swallow up the needy, even to make the poor of the land to fail,
5 Saying, When will the new moon be gone, that we may sell corn? and the sabbath, that we may set forth wheat, making the ephah small, and the shekel great, and falsifying the balances by deceit?
6 That we may buy the poor for silver, and the needy for a pair of shoes; yea, and sell the refuse of the wheat?
7 YHWH has sworn by the excellency of Jacob, Surely I will never forget any of their works.
8 Shall not the land tremble for this, and every one mourn that dwells in it? and it shall rise up wholly as a flood; and it shall be cast out and drowned, as by the flood of Egypt.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day, says YHWH Elohim, that I will cause the sun to go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in the clear day:
10 And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day.
Amos 8:4-10
Surely vengeance will taken on those who oppress the poor and needy. Wrath will abide on those who operate with deception, those who don’t honor his Sabbaths and much more. He gives an eclipse as the sign in verse 9 relating to the coming judgement for those who hate his ways. If you’ve been told the Sabbath has been done away with, or you just don’t know about it. We would highly encourage you to look into it. Here’s a future prophecy yet to be fulfilled:
Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to YHWH, to serve him, and to love the name of YHWH, to be his servants, every one that keeps the sabbath from polluting it, and takes hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
Isaiah 56:6-7
He commanded his people to celebrate the 7 feast days found in Leviticus 23
All the feasts point to Messiah. Why wouldn’t we want to celebrate them?
However most people (even believers) don’t even know they exist. Instead, Christmas is revered, something YHWH never commanded to be celebrated, and is rooted in paganism! (Not a good thing – See Deuteronomy 12:30-32).
YHWH commanded Passover to be kept, yet most of his people celebrate Easter instead:
He said to remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy, yet his people have forgotten it.
Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days YHWH made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
Exodus 31:16-17
In fact, his people have forgotten their true identity in Messiah, which is the biggest cover-up of history.
There is neither Jew nor Gentile, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Messiah Yahusha. And if ye be Messiah’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise
Galatians 3:28-29

This eclipse should put back into focus, the true fear (reverence) of YHWH before our eyes.
“But the day of YHWH will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are in it shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy behavior and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of YHWH, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwells righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that you look for such things, be diligent that you may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless
2 Peter 3:10-14
Time is short. It’s time to evaluate our lives and ask if we are truly walking in faith and obedience to him. It’s time to take action.
The angel of YHWH encamps round about them that fear him, and delivers them. O taste and see that YHWH is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him. O fear YHWH, you his saints: For to those who fear Him there is no lack of anything. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek YHWH shall not lack any good thing. Come, you children, listen to me: I will teach you the fear/reverence of YHWH
Psalm 34:7-11
Regardless of what the solar eclipse brings to the earth; war, famine, pestilence or anything for that matter, we should be a people of complete faith, knowing our Heavenly Father has it all under control. Let’s put our entire reliance on him and it will be well with us. Let us show him we love him by keeping his ways.
By this we know that we love the children of Elohim, when we love Elohim, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of Elohim, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not burdensome. For whatsoever is born of Elohim overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith
1st John 5:2-4
